EverGraze Team and Governance

EverGraze is a Future Farm Industries Cooperative Research Centre research and delivery partnership between Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA), Australian Wool Innovation (AWI), Agriculture Victoria, Department of Primary Industries New South Wales (DPI NSW), Department of Agriculture and Food Western Australia (DAFWA), and Charles Sturt University (CSU).

• National Research Leader; Paul Sanford (DAFWA),
• National Communications Officer; Bindi Hunter Agriculture Victoria,
• Regional Extension Coordinators in each region, and
• A cross-disciplinary research team.

The research team includes experts in soil science; agronomy; environmental science; hydrology; animal production; ecology; farming systems; and biophysical, environmental and economic modelling.

A National Advisory Committee (NAC) comprising lead farmers and investors are strong advocates of the project, and play an important role in driving the direction of EverGraze research, development and extension. Regional Advisory Groups at each research site comprise lead farmers, consultants, extension staff and scientists and likewise play an important role in advising the direction of research and interpreting biophysical and modelling results to develop regionally relevant recommendations.

A range of industry groups, private service providers and NRM bodies are engaged through a demonstration site network and delivery of training.
