SatNav sheep’s smorgasbord

Sheep are fussy eaters — they pick and choose their favourite plants from the paddock smorgasbord. At the Orange EverGraze Proof Site, GPS technology was used to work out exactly where and what the sheep were eating. Researchers measured the production and environmental benefits to give local farmers the best advice on managing native-grass based pastures.
